I was trying to find out if you have to buy a ticket to just peek inside the Grand Palais for a few minutes. We are not interested in seeing any exhibitions or anything else but would like to take a look inside this beautiful building. Thank you

The Grand Palais is usually divided into separate spaces to house, each housing different paid art exhibits. There is no one, large, grand area accessible from one space to another except during an exceptional exhibit every few years. On the other hand, you can go into the Petit Palais for free and that space is more open. The museum it houses is worth visiting, too.
