We will be in Paris early September and want to purchase Eiffel Tower tickets for a time that will allow us to be there at sunset and watch the lights come on. Sunset is around 20:30 during that time. Anyone have an idea of what time we should shoot for?
Shoot for 90 minutes before sunset factoring in possible lines etc. But note that the prime times are often simply not offered or sell out instantly. Everyone wants to go at sunset.
Our ticket time was 8:30 at the beginning of May, but we were able to start up more than an hour before that. Waiting for elevators, it took over an hour to get to the top.
