Eiffel Tower tickets when dining at the tower

Hello everyone- I've a very specific question I can't seem to find an answer to anywhere!

First trip to Paris, first trip abroad for husband and son. We are packing a lot into this first trip!

Specifically I am wondering if anyone has had experience dining at 58 Tour Eiffel on the tower. Our reservation is at 630pm, would like to try and get tickets to 2/3rd levels for after dinner. My question is, do I just approximate the time I feel we would be done and try to buy a ticket? I don't see anything on the restaurant website or from friends who have been indicating that any tickets are included I the dinner, I guess I'm just confused about go up then go back down and get in line? We are going in October, tickets are not for sale yet.

Also, how difficult would it be to have a walking tour that would end about 5pm round about Notre Dame area and try to get back to our hotel in the opera area then to the Eiffel via walking/metro to make a 630 reservation?

Thanks for any input. I used the boards years and years ago planning a trip to Rome/Sorrento. I forgot how much fun these boards can be!

We've eaten there. The food is average and the price is inflated but the experience is great in my opinion. We've done it twice. Very touristy, romantic, wonderful views, good memories.
Your reservation gets you to the restaurant on the 1st floor. Same price for 1st and 2nd floors access, but I'm not sure you can take the lift from 1st to 2nd floors. (When we were there 2 years ago, I took the lift down to the 1st floor from the 2nd, but then had to walk up the stairs to get back to the 2nd.)
At any rate, there is no elevator from the ground up to the top. Everyone must take the elevator from the 2nd floor up to the top. Those tickets (separate from your first floor access tickets that come with the reservation) can be bought on site on in advance.
I think it would be a stretch to go from the end of the tour (at about 5 pm), to your hotel and then to the Eiffel Tower in an hour and a half.

thank you so much! that helps - i think i should just buy the separate ticket hopefully at an appropriate time and we will hope - i just was thrown trying to imagine it all! friend went there last year, i know it's not going to be a foodie extravaganza per se, but it will be a fun splurge location hopefully followed by a trip to the top! my friends that went last year dress probably better than my family and i tend to do on vacation, the website says "formal" dress then defines that later as no jeans or tennis shoes? anyway, trying to think if we could squeeze something else in that afternoon before the restaurant but i think we should keep it easier and be a little nicer dressed.

thanks!
