Eiffel Tower Tickets - Late June 2025

I'm usually organized with planning our trips...this one slipped through the cracks! My 5yo has been dying to go to the summit of the Eiffel Tower - this is the reason that we are stopping in Paris for a day and a half before heading off to our next destinations. We were hoping to visit on June 29...and I realized today that we missed ticket drop and that the tickets are sold out.

I've read reports that there are additional tickets dropped at 1PM Paris time 7 days prior - is this still true?

Am I able to line up for tickets to the summit on the day of, and if so, how early should I plan to be in line? I've seen some posts from 2024 but my understanding was that tourism was different due to the Olympics.

Yes to the 7 day ahead ticket drop. Set your alarm for Paris time and be on the computer ready to go right away. If day of, plan on a long wait just to go up to ther second level, then a long wait to get on the elevator to the top. There is only one, if I am correct. The line for the stairs to level 2 is shorter, but for a five year old...I'm not sure.

Thank you!

My 5 year old might be able to do the stairs, but we're also travelling with my 3.5 year old. The 5 year old is bound and determined that he's taking the stairs, but for the sake of everyone visiting that day...I think it's best that we wait for the lift!!

Definitely wait for the lift, but get your tickets ahead. Day of wait just for tickets could be 2 hours or more.
