Eiffel tower tickets

Help. Summit & second level Eiffel tower tickets have sold out for our trip in May. Is there another way to purchase summit tickets for the Eiffel tower?

The tickets haven't sold out for May yet.
They have not been listed as available. I have followed the Facebook page and they say they will be available to purchase in early April.

I am needing to purchase some for May 24th and have watched daily for a month now.

Just keep watching.

They go on sale April 3rd (Paris time, so i would check first thing in the AM on the 3rd or wake up early if you want).

Do you happen to know what time of day they release the tickets? I would love to be online right when they become available.
Thanks!

I have been following these also for May and read that tickets go on sale at 8:30 am, Paris time.

Hi all,

I'm confused. When I go on the official website the dates in May are available (not grey scale). When I choose a May 22 - 26, the notice indicates there are no tickets available. Are you saying they will go on sale April 3?

Thank you - Sharon

The site and whole operation which used to run like clockwork is apparently now being managed by monkeys or something. I would hope for April 3 and go on line starting at 8 am Paris time.

I'd just add that if you do log in first thing in the morning on the day the tickets are opened up for purchase and everything shows as being "sold out" for summit or 2nd level, don't necessarily throw in the towel. I had this very thing happen to me and then on a whim I tried the site about 4-5 days prior to my arrival in Paris and "voila" - was able to score 2 summit level tickets direct from the Tower's website and I was able to book a great time in the evening so we were on the Tower when it started lighting up at the top of the hour. I'd been up on the 2nd level of the Tower on previous trips, but this was my first time getting a ticket for the summit. I will also say don't feel bad if all you can get is 2nd level - it's really not that big a deal.

If you don't get tickets in advance because things are looking totally sold out, then you may also want to look at some of the outfits that do "Skip the Line" tours of the Tower. Fat Tire bike tours organizes one along with countless others. You'll pay a premium, so just depends how important you feel it is to go up in the Tower.

No problem, Shoshana. If you get entrance tickets around lunch or dinner time and you want to eat in that area at someplace with a really fab view of the Tower, try Les Ombres. But book a table in advance. Otherwise, the bar/cafe at the Quai Branly Museum (which is actually a very interesting museum to visit) has an outdoor terrace where you can sit and have a glass of wine and look right up at the Tower.

Uggghhhh so I thought they were available.. they are not grayed out anymore but they keep saying none are left. However, I think that in a few hours they will be available, as for example April 30 there are lots of time slots and May 1 there are none (yet).
