Acraven,
Someone reported very recently that the Eiffel Tower no longer sells elevator tickets on the second level, so that option for bypassing the long lines no longer works.
Yes, it's unfortunate that those wanting to take the stairs cannot buy a ticket to the summit on the 2nd level anymore, however, one can buy the "stairs + lift ticket " at the ticket office.
Here are the new rates for taking the stairs:
€10 for adults, € 5 for 12-24 year olds and €2.5 for 4-11 year olds, and disabled people on presentation of the personal disability card.
Here are the rates for "stairs + lift ticket" to the summit:
The rates are €19 for adults, €9.5 for 12-24 year olds and €4.8 for 4-11 year olds.
Mary,
Your tickets for June 7th will be available to book on March 9th @8:30am, Paris time.
Julie,
Your tickets for June 30th will be available for booking on April 1st at 8:30am Paris time.
For anyone else wanting to know when you can book your tickets for June, follow these steps:
- Once on the Eiffel Tower Official website Toureffiel.Paris
click on, "Purchase Ticket"
- Then click on "Tickets for Individuals"
- Select the type of ticket you want; 2nd level or Summit, then choose your date on the calendar
- Indicate the number of visitors
- Click, "Confirm" and you'll see a calendar with June 1st-3rd blacked out- meaning that these are the dates available now.
- Choose a time available (whichever time you choose does not matter for this example) then you'll receive a message which reads: "Upcoming sales" and you should see the date you chose plus the "sales opening date"
Good luck everyone!
