Eiffel Tower tickets available NOW!

There have been some posts recently asking about advance tickets for the Eiffel Tower.

FYI, Eiffel Tower tickets are available for May and June, so don’t delay & book your tickets NOW! ;-)

Please note that one cannot buy tickets to the summit on the 2nd level anymore, so choose the appropriate tickets when buying.

Enjoy your time in PAris!

Priscilla

Edited to add:

One can usually book Eiffel Tower tickets online up to 92 days in advance.

Hi Arthur,

I’m curious, what website did you use?

The last time I checked was last night and there were only tickets available till the end of April.

Larlock,

It was an exercise in patience.

I believe it!

When I booked our ET tickets back in March 2016, the June schedule became available 92 days in advance and the tickets sold out (for my date) within minutes!

I can't get the website to allow me to pick a time. I pick a date and the ages of the visitors, but it won't allow me to do anything else. I think it is not allowing June dates yet. I could pick a time for May, but not for June. Although it allowed me to click on a June date on the calendar.

Priscilla,
I got my training getting Underground Colosseum tickets in 2016 - 3 computers and a phone to get those. This time at least everything wasn't busy. Just painfully slow - 2 days - 20 minutes - 4 more days and so on. I had contacted them via FB - all they said was May and June are now available sometime after it was all posted. I was in bed by then. Thank goodness I work at night.

Mary,

What’s your date?

I just tried to “buy” tickets and can only choose up to June 3rd.
If your date is after this date then just keep checking. Theoretically, you should be able to book your tickets around 92 days in advance.

Best of luck!

Priscilla

Mary,

I just attempted to buy 2 tickets for June 3rd, and once I hit, “confirm”, I received this message:

Sales opening date :
Monday 05th March 2018 at 08:30 am

So just keep checking for your date ;-)

Laura,

Yes, I remember I’d wanted ET tickets for a certain date in June and they sold out within seconds! I called them and they apologized & adviced me to try the next day. So I stayed up the following night and finally booked my tickets.

I recall preregistering on the website and I had everything ready; number of tickets, time, and then I hit, “confirm”, right at 8:30am Paris time.

I just tried the site and it looked like they had tickets through June 2nd. (I tried the site at about noontime on the east coast of the US on March 4th.)
I'm hoping to get tickets for June 30th....I guess I'll keep checkings. I've seen people say that they become available about 92 days out.

Yes, tickets usually become available 92 days in advance, however, now it appears that they are available 90 days in advance (tickets for June 3rd will be available on March 5th at 8:30 Paris time)

Keep checking the website and you should be able to book your tickets for June 30th towards the end of March.

Enjoy your trip!

I walked up to the ticket booth at the Eiffel Tower last September. Very short line, and they had tickets where you just walk to the 2nd floor and take the elevator to the top. There were lines for the first floor elevator, but I didn't bother to see how long they were. I guess it is only hard if you're unable to, or won't walk the first two floors.

Someone reported very recently that the Eiffel Tower no longer sells elevator tickets on the second level, so that option for bypassing the long lines no longer works.

Yes, it's unfortunate that those wanting to take the stairs cannot buy a ticket to the summit on the 2nd level anymore, however, one can buy the "stairs + lift ticket " at the ticket office.

Here are the new rates for taking the stairs:

€10 for adults, € 5 for 12-24 year olds and €2.5 for 4-11 year olds, and disabled people on presentation of the personal disability card.

Here are the rates for "stairs + lift ticket" to the summit:

The rates are €19 for adults, €9.5 for 12-24 year olds and €4.8 for 4-11 year olds.

Mary,
Your tickets for June 7th will be available to book on March 9th @8:30am, Paris time.

Julie,
Your tickets for June 30th will be available for booking on April 1st at 8:30am Paris time.

For anyone else wanting to know when you can book your tickets for June, follow these steps:

  1. Once on the Eiffel Tower Official website Toureffiel.Paris click on, "Purchase Ticket"
  2. Then click on "Tickets for Individuals"
  3. Select the type of ticket you want; 2nd level or Summit, then choose your date on the calendar
  4. Indicate the number of visitors
  5. Click, "Confirm" and you'll see a calendar with June 1st-3rd blacked out- meaning that these are the dates available now.
  6. Choose a time available (whichever time you choose does not matter for this example) then you'll receive a message which reads: "Upcoming sales" and you should see the date you chose plus the "sales opening date"

Good luck everyone!
