Eiffel Tower ticket website!

Is there something wrong with the website for advanced tickets?...is there a trick to getting it to work in USA?....does it need a special browser? I've tried with Chrome and Internet Explorer....

Usually the tickets are only available 3 months early and I've had to be ready the second they are available which I think is 8:00 am
Europe Central Time. Also be sure you have pre-authorized with your credit card company that you will be making an international purchase. Some years even being ready the second they were available, the tickets were gone for all the time slots. That year I chose to go on a "Back Scenes tour" available on the tour-eiffel.fr website.

Ok.....thanks...so everyday at 2:00am Eastern US time, the tickets for that day in 3 months time are gone in minutes? If I want to go on Thur June 1st , I would have to be on the site Thur March 1st at 2:00am to have a chance?

Bzebos,

Eiffel Tower tickets go on sale 92 days in advance.
If you go on the official Eiffel Tower website now & try to buy tickets for say, May 6th, you'll see that one can only book tickets up to May 4th, which is 92 days from today.

My daughter & I were in Paris last June & had wanted to go to the tower on a specific date, but the tickets were sold out within seconds!

I was able to buy tickets for the following day, but I was all ready, having completed all the steps, except for the payment part, before 8:30AM Paris time.

Make sure you complete all the steps carefully, once you choose the type of ticket (2nd floor vs Summit) and the date, click on "Confirm", then choose the time desired.
Please note: After confirming that you're not a robot, you need to click on, "Add to Cart", before you click on "Checkout", otherwise you may have to start again.

I'd suggest you practice "buying" a ticket for an available date, just so you can see all the steps you need to go through, but do not enter you phone #!

Have a wonderful trip!

Take heed of previous poster's advice. If you really want those tickets you had better practice on ordering them correctly so you waste zero time in the process. They sell out in probably less than 1 minute when they go on sale for high season.

Could you tell me how you managed to get the website to work? It is not displaying any dates, when I try to select a ticket type. Also, I cannot find a link to create an account, even when I tried entering information into the account sign in. The online help page does not address any such problems, so no solution can be found there. I have also tried different browsers (IE, googlechrome) without success. Please let me know if you were able to get it to work, and how?!? Thanks!!

Alleyo,

Are you using the official website toureiffel.com ?

It is not displaying any dates, when I try to select a ticket type.

  • Once you click on, "Buying Tickets" --top right of screen/orange bar with white letters (on the Home page), you'll get to
  • this screen, where you'll select the type of ticket and then the date (on the calendar)

If you're still having issues, start a new post with your questions.

Thanks Priscilla. I did get the website to work. For some reason, it just wouldn't display the calendar with the dates until I used a different computer, and then it was fine. From there I was able to proceed, create an account, etc. So if anyone else encounters this issue, just try a different computer!
