I'm trying to reserve my elevator ticket times for mid-April and for some reason, there are limited times available for every single day. I thought the tower opened at 9:30am, but there are no ticket times available until 11am, no matter which day I look at. Does anybody know why?

Also - there is a big gap between 5 and 8pm where no tickets are sold as well. Which is a bummer if you want to follow Rick's advice to go there at twilight. Thanks for any advice/help!

Hi Amy, I noticed the same thing about the ticket times. You can take your chances and stand in line but I'd recommend securing advance tickets if possible.
I bought tickets for 5 p.m. We plan to go to the summit, take photos, have a snack on the second level, and browse the gift shop. Sunset will be about 8:30 p.m. so the "twinkling" should begin at 9 p.m. I've been on the Tower when it lights up, very cool. It's also nice to be on the ground at the Champs de Mars to take photos. Your call.
