Eiffel Tower and Louvre tickets canceled

Going to Paris tomorrow and just found out my Eiffel Tower tickets for tomorrow evening and Louvre tickets for Wednesday evening are both canceled. Super disappointed. Any suggestions for alternatives? Worth trying to reschedule?(Guessing that will be impossible this close to the visit).

Weather Alert

Monday 13th of July : the Eiffel Tower is closed due to preparations for the Bastille Day fireworks display organized by the City of Paris.

Due to the high temperatures forecast, the Eiffel Tower will be adjusting its operations

Tuesday 14th of July : the Eiffel Tower will exceptionally close at 4:00 PM. Last entry at 12:15 PM. Restaurants: Last entry at 1:30 p.m.

Visitors with tickets for a visit from noon (for the stairs) and 12:30 PM (for the elevators), please check your email inbox. Your visit will be automatically refunded.

Visitors without tickets are asked to postpone their visit. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Remember to protect yourself from the sun and stay hydrated. Water fountains are available in the walkways leading to the plaza.

Heatwave advisory: The Musée du Louvre will be closing at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday 15 July and Thursday 16 July (last admissions: 2:00 p.m.).

We encourage you to adjust the pace of your visit and protect yourself from the heat.

Given the holiday tomorrow, you probably are going to have difficulties rescheduling given how many people are probably in the same boat. If you're wanting an evening view, head up to Sacre Coeur (watch for pickpockets). For art, there dozens of museums to choose from but it would help to know your taste so people can recommend.

Sorry your trip is being impacted by the severe heat. Many sights are closing earlier for the next couple days. Try to plan your activities for early in the day. Hopefully your hotel has AC.
