Eiffel tour tickets - printing and phone versions

I bought tickets for the Eiffel Tower on-line. The directions are very specific about printing them, but I don't have A4 paper. Do the tickets have to be printed on A4 paper? Can I print them on 8 1/2 by 11 white printer paper? Also, I tried texting two tickets to the same phone number, but only one of the text messages was received. The mobile option no longer appears in my account on-line. Can I resend the ticket by text message that was not received? Thank you.

Hi Kathy. I printed my Eiffel Tower tickets on regular 8 1/2" x 11" paper. I was careful not to fold or crease the QR / bar code on each ticket.

I can't answer your question about texting, but I e-mailed the tickets as PDFs to myself as a backup.

Kathy,

I also printed my tickets on standard 8.5" x 11" paper.

I also took a screenshot of each of our tickets on my iPhone, & the Eiffel Tower staff were able to scan these without any problem.
I had our printed tickets, just in case, but didn't need to use them.

I'm not tech savvy, but my daughter helped me out & it was easy.

So here are the details:

  • Access your Eiffel Tower purchase confirmation email on your smartphone.

  • Follow the printing instructions by clicking on the link given.

  • Access your account on the ET website (with link given in email)

  • Take screenshots of each of your tickets.

  • your screenshot tickets will appear in your camera roll.

  • I made a "tickets" album, for easy retrieval.

Hope you find this helpful :-)

Enjoy your trip!

Also remember that even if you DO have prepaid tickets - the Eiffel Tower can close down without notice for the all-to-infamous Paris Strikes and riots and protests, etc.

In the event there is a strike or shut down, are you refunded if you have pre-paid?
