We land at CDG next Tuesday at 7.30am and will need to go through the EES process with our passports. We will also have checked luggage.
How long do you think this could take? We have booked the DAYTRIP company to meet us at arrivals and transport us to our friend’s house in Versailles.
Not sure if I should give them a later time or how long they will wait?
This question (fill in the name of the airport) is asked on here continuously. No one is able to give you a time with all the different variables that could happen. And what one person experiences may not necessarily be what you will experience. It sounds like you need to contact Daytrip to ask how long they are willing to wait.
When I arrived into CDG 2E one week ago today, they once again were not doing EES - the kiosks for doing so were once again neither turned on nor used. There was also hardly any line.
This of course doesn't mean you will have the same experience. But I have yet to come through CDG 2E when they have been running EES.

Yes joe32f, the link for daytrip is the operator we are using. I will email them and let them know my concerm and see what they say. It is a prepaid transfer so we dont want to miss it.
Hopefully as Kim experienced, the EES system will not be operating when we arrive.
We arrived at CDG late morning on August 27th. No EES, long line for passport scan , short wait for baggage and into a nearby airport hotel in a little over an hour after arrival.
As others point out there are no tricks, hacks, tips or sound predictions. You gotta roll with it.
Let us know how it goes AND which terminal you came through.
As Kim indicates, she comes in through 2E based on her airline of choice which is also my choice. Back as far as April forum folks were posting different experiences for people coming thru the same terminals much less different terminals. Even my plane load looked like it was being diverted to different lines (egates vs EES kiosks vs live person).
You may be in a different terminal. When you email your transportation provider, make sure to indicate which terminal.
Arrived there solo on 27 May, late morning from SFO on the United overnight flight. EES process was perfunctory and quick...too quick. No questions were put to me, no passport stamp....I was disappointed.

We arrived at 7.15 this morning at CDG in Terminal 1.
EES machines closed off and not operating and we breezed through both passport scan and immigration. The longest delay was waiting for our checked luggage to appear on the carousel.
We were in our prebooked transport in 45 mins after our arrival.
As an extra recommendation. We used DayTrip as our transport to Versailles and they were wonderful. Great communication, lovely driver and we think it’s great value for the service.

Other travelers may not zip through quite as quickly as you did, and knowing what happens if it takes 70 minutes to get out, could be helpful.
