Economical Rental Agencies for 1 month stay in Paris

We are trying to rent an economical apartment for one month with three beds (for three college students) in Paris. I am wondering what reputable agencies there are besides Airbnb or VRBO. I read enough questionable things about ParisAttitude to not want to rent through them. Any tips out there?

We should have been looking months ago but we did not know we were going. I fear that our options are slim.

Thank you for reading.

Details: We would like to get something under $4500 a month. We do not need bedrooms but would like three seperate beds. We will be in Paris starting April 10th for a month. Ideally near the the 18th or 2nd arrondissement which is the center of our studies but we are very flexible on this.

Since most of the agencies that specialized in short term rentals have closed due to the fact that it is mostly illegal to rent places like this, you are probably best off with AIRBNB and alas prices have skyrocketed due to lack of supply since the crack down. When we rented apartments 35 years ago, it was a tiny fraction of hotel costs -- now we pay as much as hotel -- just for better accommodations.

I know Perfectly Paris has a few rentals that might suit in Montmartre and rents usually from a minimum of one or three months depending on apartment. But they are not going to be dirt cheap. Be very careful with cheap apartments on AIRBNB etc as well. i am pretty sure we tangled with a scammer a few trips ago. When we declined to rent they came back with a ludicrously low price that shouted -- 'send us your money and then just ry and find us.'

We have had very good experience with Vacation in Paris, and so has everyone I know who has used them. It is actually an American company, in business for many years, so they are very easy to deal with in terms of communication and payment. They have stand in Paris for immediate concerns.

Their website has an area for listings of rentals for 30 days or more:

https://www.vacationinparis.com/long-term-rentals

But other apartments can be rented for a full month as well, if available. Main website:

You might just give them a call to see what they have for the students’ specific dates. Their office is on the East Coast (New Jersey, I believe) so they are on Eastern Time.

Firstly, why not use euros now. What you are looking for will be quoted in euros which will be about 4000€.

Secondly, there was a change to the law Alur, allowing legal rentals for periods of as short as 1 month to students (as well as others, but excluding tourism). If you are studying in association with a known educational facility, they will have a list of such apartments.
