Eating in Lyon, Annecy and Marseille

Hello!

We took a trip to Italy this last summer and people on this forum had great input on restaurants.

We will start in Paris for 2 days and already have plenty of food ideas there. We will be spending 6 nights in Lyon with trips to Annecy and Marseille. Good restaurant ideas? We won't be packing a ton of extra clothes (we are going for the Women's World Cup) so casual restaurants with a good atmosphere are the name of the game.

We will eat nearly anything and a great atmosphere is important (we love outdoor dining!).

Any suggestions would be great as we get closer to our June/July trip!

Check out Cafe des Federations in Lyon-plenty of character with locals and tourists, and excellent traditional Lyonnaise food. Reservation probably a good idea.

In Lyon, Daniel et Denise (can't recommend this enough - there are a few locations in different parts of the city); L’Ebullition; Nardone Rene Glacier for ice cream.

In Marseille, Chez Madie for bouillabaisse. You'll definitely need reservations and I believe you'll need to pre-order the bouillabaisse.
