EasyBus trouble with booking CDG to Paris - what to do?

I have been unable to process my reservation, and after putting in the credit card and clicking all applicable boxes, the Pay Now button leads to the London part of the website. No confirmation of a sale, and the back button takes me back to my order form with the tickets and date correct, but blank credit card information.

I sent an email to the customer service - no reply yet - and am hesitant to try again because the tickets are non-refundable.

Now I'm wondering if there is a problem because my credit card is chip and signature? My captaine train reservation generated a text to my bank for approval for the transaction - but this EasyBus attempt didn't generate that kind of security measure.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Laurie

Why not just take a taxi? I took one from CDG to central Paris last year for around 40 euro. It was easy and convenient.

I am unsure why you are having difficulties. My reservations (Paris to CDG) processed without difficulties on the website, so it may be something specific to your transaction. It is hard to beat the price. I am due to use their services in a few weeks and will report how it goes.

Steve, with 5 people and baggage, I think our taxi fare would be around 50-55 euro. The Easy Bus rate is 20. I'm trying to save money in reasonable ways, and the EasyBus sounded good and reliable...until I ran into trouble booking!

There is another way to get into Paris, and it will cost about 25 euro for the five of you. RATP buses, no. 350 to Gare de l'est, and 351 to Place de la Nation, pick up at all terminals. The driver sells tickets and you must use euros. Journey is about an hour.

Thank you for your ideas. I tried the Easy Bus site a couple of more times this afternoon, and finally it went through. I am set with seats for 5 for 20 euros, and they drop right near our hotel. Whew!

Check that detail off the list... :-)

Well done. Patience is a virtue "often found in woman, seldom found in man".
