Do they charge extra for bags and seat selection? Seriously, thanks for the post.

Thanks for the post. I checked out the site and there were a few transfers for 2 euros, but most of them were for 3.99 euros one way with another 2 euros for the return. Still a bargain. This goe from Palais Royal/Louvre location to CDG and back.

Thanks for a good tip. It's an introductory price so let's see how long it lasts.

Actually, the 2 euro pricing is supposedly not introductory pricing but the lowest possible price going forward for reservations made online and paid for well in advance of travel.

I just booked for June and got 2 euro out and 3.99 return. Very happy with that!
Guess it's going to be really popular at those sort of prices.

Oh how I would have loved to have done this but it does not start until May 15th and I would have needed it on May 13th. Two days late and a bunch of dollars short.

Notice that this bus goes to Louvre area. Is there an easy way to get from this area to area near the St. Michel or Luxembourg RER stops since that is where my hotel is, or should I just take RER B from airport? Also, since reservations have to be made in advance, how long should you give yourself between flight arrival time and bus departure times, just in case the plane is late?

Just booked the shuttle for Sat 5/16 from CDG to Paris for 5.99 euro.. (peak time supposedly) and 3.99 return on Thur 5/21.

I've tried both RER B and Air France Bus and found that RER B usually saves time and less costly. However, there are several downsides to RER B including safety, having to haul your bags up/down flights of stairs.

My last experience taking RER B wasn't too bad. Tickets can be bought using your US issued credit card at the tourist info desk along with museum passes if applicable. The journey was fine overall. However, one really needs to be on the look out for own safety and belongings. My least fav part was having to carry my bags. If you are traveling with a strong guy, it probably wouldn't be an issue.

I'm staying at an apt also close to St Michel. My original plan was to take the RER B which would be a direct ride from CDG to my stop at St Michel. After I heard about the bus, I want to try it this time. I think the bus would help save my arms!

Trip report for easyBus in Paris last weekend

Our flight arrived a little early, so we made our way to the bus stop point and managed to get on an earlier bus at no extra cost. So a good start to our weekend in Paris.

The buses are smart, and the driver was really helpful. He loaded our luggage for us, and showed us to our seats. The seats are comfortable. There was about 10 people on the minibus. All seemed to be on holiday like us, for a long-weekend break.

The journey was swift and took about 50 minutes.

For the return, we got to the bus stop about 15 minutes before the bus was due to leave. There were 7 people already there. 5 minutes before time, the bus arrived. A different driver, who also spoke French as well as English. Again, very friendly and helpful. The journey back out to the airport took 65 minutes as there was more traffic.

We would definitely, recommend the easyBus service. It was on time and more than 50% cheaper than the alternative.

Anybody familiar with traffic patterns around Paris? Any times that easyBus would NOT be recommended because of high traffic/rush hour?

The going to work hours and the going home from work hours would be the obvious answer. 7 to 9 and maybe 4 to 7? If it is a real concern, take the RER.
