I have no restaurant suggestion for you, but if you go to the Cite du Vin, there's an indoor food hall about a block a way that I thought had some interesting things for a quick meal. Seating and space at stand-up tables was limited, though, so it could be dicey during peak meal hours.

On a recommendation from my hotel I ate at this out of the way restaurant. It was a 3 course meal for about 20 euros. It has a limited menu, so I would check it out online. All the food was excellent and the wine selection was nice.

Hi,
La Table Bordelaise was wonderful when I was there. As was La Belle Epoch and L'Orleans, both of which are close to the Opera House. Eduardo's Bistrot was good, but not by any means spectacular: nice large portions of magret and foie gras.
