early flight from paris to usa

My flight leaves at 6:30 am and there are 6 of us. What is the best way to get from our hotel to the airport at 4:00 am?

Well, there is the night bus or a taxi, unless you want to arrange with Bolt, FreeNow, or Uber.

I think I would consider staying at an airport hotel the night before - in fact I did once for a flight at about that time. It was the Sheraton at CDG, and I could just walk from there right to the terminal. Then you can take the RER or whatever method of transport you want out to the airport.

I just came here to ask the same question, and rather than starting a new and duplicative thread, I hope the original poster won't mind me piggybacking on this one. We have the same problem. We are a family of four that needs to get to the Paris Orly Airport by at least 5:00 AM for a 7:00 AM flight to Venice from a place we are renting in the 19th arrondissement I can see that the Metro and RER trains are not an option at that time. There is an bus option, but it is slow and involves multiple connections so I don't see that as viable.

So I expect we need a taxi or something similar (such as Bolt or Uber, etc.) I am hoping that someone more experienced or knowledgeable could tell me what the best options are in Paris for this? Thanks!

This is one instance where I would spend that last night near the airport. They tell you to be at the airport 3 hours early, although I would check what time the desks even open. So leaving Paris at 4:00 won’t get you to the airport until at least 4:40.

For an early morning flight from I would elect to stay at an airport hotel too. Specifically one that is on airport grounds and does not require an airport shuttle but the airport’s inter terminal train.

For travel lite orly is much closer to Paris and a taxi is probably a good way to go. G7 has a good reputation here in the forums. Perhaps call to arrange the night before. Calling will probably add a small fee.

For a party of 4, it is cheaper to take a cab to Orly than to take the convoluted annoying public transport anyway. Call G7 taxi on their English line a couple days before and make arrangements for a cab that will get you there in time.

Same is true of CDG at the hour although if you can stay at the airport you will get at least a little sleep. We stay at the Novotel which is right on the CDGVAL to the terminals. But if you are in an apartment and want to stay in Paris that last night then arrange for a cab a couple days ahead.
