Early December 9 day Paris Itinerary

We booked 12/01 to 12/11 ticket to Paris, and thinking to stay in Paris all 9 days. This is our first time in France.
--should we book different hotels to cover different areas?
--would be 9 days in Paris too much?
Appreciated if anybody can help with sample 9 day Paris Itinerary.

Thanks,
Jin

Nine days in Paris is definitely not too much ! I wouldn't go through the hassle of moving hotels, but that is me.

A good guidebook will probably help you plan your days, including a day trip or two (Versailles, Fontainebleau for example).

The public transportation network in Paris is comprehensive and inexpensive. There is no reason to change accommodations once there. Changing hotels is time-consuming and a general squandering of valuable vacation time.

I shouldn’t think 9 days too much time for Paris, but you have time for options. Impossible to recommend alternatives without more information about your overall plans.

I am going for two weeks, as of Friday. I’m not sure that’s gonna be enough for me so yes you will be able to find plenty to do in nine days.

In addition to what others have said, there are also a multitude of posts with sample itineraries in previous threads on the France forum. It might pay to spend some time skimming them. I do this and almost always find gems for my trips that hadn’t come up in other research.

That said, I will also be in Paris toward the end of your trip! And was there last year at the same time. :) Lots to do!

If interested in an apartment instead of a hotel. I can suggest two companies that I have used. Cobblestone Paris, https://cobblestoneparis.com, who has been endorsed in RS books and Apartments du Louvre, https://www.apartmentsdulouvre.com, both buildings ran by Apartments du Louvre have small elevators in them if that is something you need, want and or desire.

You could do a day trip, via train, to Strasbourg and or Colmar to visit a Christmas Market. They open at the end of November.

Enjoy your trip, I was there last year at that time.

This is so helpful, and make my planning much easier! Thank you all!
Thanks @brushtim for the apartment links. I'll definitely look into it.
