Dubai to Paris and back on US Passport next week

My son is traveling for leisure next week from Dubai to Paris, and on a US passport. (He works in Dubai). He has a COVID vaccination document (they don't use the cards there) and took the Pfizer vaccine two doses back in April. Assuming he enters the non-EU line ad De Gaulle when he arrives for immigration and customs. Should this be enough to enger France? Believe that UAE is an Amber country.

Is there anything other than the proof of vaccination he will need? He is taking a PCR test before leaving and will have to take another when he returns. We read that most pharmacies do these, and floating in some of the posts was a link for making an appointment ahead of time, but just can't find it. Keep reading about the health certificate and all the upcoming changes and not sure what the latest is on that. Trying to stay up to date for his trip and mine upcoming in early September.

I thought the UAE was a green country meaning he only needs proof of vaccination. If it is amber, he will need, along with proof of vaccination, a sworn statement certifying the absence of COVID-19 symptoms.

Pharmacies offer an Antigen test for 29€ which takes only minutes. If he needs a PCR test, he will likely need to have it done at a lab such as Cerballiance. Any pharmacy can guide him to the nearest facility.

Doctolib is the app used to make medical appointments. The app uses his telephone number (from any country) to register.

Thanks, Tocard. I may have read the map incorrectly regarding green vs Amber. I would have thought they were green. Will pass this info on. Thank you so much!

UAE is an orange (amber) country.
