You should go in the EU line while your husband goes in the non-EU line. You are not subject to EES.

This advice is dual to dual: you get in the EU line. He has to do the other. Your husband has to take the long route into the EU but you'll see him again eventually.

It's your legal obligation to use your EU passport entering and exiting the EU.

Edit: what Kimberly has written makes sense. I have no recent experience with different passports. And as the other poster said, there are people to direct you to the correct lines.

Given the uncertainties that still plague the system, I'd ask before entering the passport control area. I've never once arrived in the EU when assistance was not available in that part of the airport.

I, dual EU/US citizen, and hubby, US Citizen, have always been separated since EES implementation. However, I met a number of "mixed" couples recently who were able to go through the EU line together as long as it staffed by a border patrol officer (no e-gates.) I am going to try it for our trip in October. Take that as you will.
