Hello. Just wondering if anyone has any information or opinion on which route to take from Sisteron to Grenoble? We prefer the prettiest drive, but also one that won't take a lot longer than the most direct route. A little longer is fine. Thanks!

The prettiest route is Route Napoleon via Gap. Take A51 to the end to save a bit of time (scenery is equivalent), then N85 north towards Gap then Grenoble.
It does not take much longer than the direct D1075 - 25-30% longer perhaps?

We just did the drive and did not go through Gap. Took the freeway south out of Grenoble and drove through a beautiful mountain valley. Spectacular view
