Driving from Nantes to Saint-Emilion

Would love some advise on any good spots between those two cities? We won’t have a lot of time maybe 3 or 4 hours. Food, wine, scenery, art, architecture anything really :)

Well, I'm not sure I would call Saint-Émilion a city, but if you would be willing to head a bit east toward Limoges, a visit to Oradour-sur-Glane would be a sobering and memorable experience for many people.

If that's not your cup of tea, Rochefort has a couple of interesting museums: La Musée National de la Marine and La Corderie Royale de Rochefort. The first is a general maritime museum and the second is an interesting museum dedicated to the King of France's naval rope production factory. I know -- it sounds boring. But it's not.

Is the 3-4 hours the time you have to get to St E, or is it time extra time you have to play with? Cause that journey will take about 3 hours on the payage.
