We will be driving from Pontlevoy in the Poire Valley to Dijon next September. At this point we have arranged lodging in Vezelay to visit the midieval basilica and break up the drive. Learning of the opportunity for a guided market and French cooking class in Dijon, we are considering cancelling our lodging reservation in Vezelay and instead making it a stop along our way into Dijon, extending our lodging arrangements to a 2 nights stay there.
Thank you for your insights, comments and recommendations.
Well, Vezeley is stunning in ways that Dijon is not. And it breaks your trip nicely. it is a sweet place to spend the night.
But there's the class etc. in the equation. So what is your pleasure?
If it is any consolation, I'd say you really cannot go wrong with this.
