Driving from Avignon to Paris

Will be in Avignon in mid-late September. Looking for advice or suggestions for driving from Avignon area to Paris. Flying home from Paris.

If you just have one day, then the train saves you half a day and is highly recommended. If you can spend a night en route, then you can stop somewhere in Burgundy; for instance: Beaune, Tournus, Vézelay are a few options.
