My granddaughter and I plan to stay in Aix-en-Provence in August and would like a driver for a day trip to some small towns on her "list". We could get to Isle sur la Sorgue by bus and would like to leave from there. (I do know Roussillon is on that list.) Our host does not have any suggestions (probably because it's August).
Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I visited Aix a couple years ago. They have a wonderful tourist information center. I would suggest you contact them. They might have a list of drivers. Aix also has a very modern & nice (mostly outdoors) bus center, too.

several years ago we had planned to stay in the area and saved these 2 tours. life took a different turn with medical issues so we cancelled trip.

read up what they offer, contact/send email what you are hoping for and to see, then decide what suits your fancy.
you could also stop at tourist office to see if they offer a tour. good luck and have fun
