Hello guys!
Planning to drive through Luberon Villages on 27-28 August (Tuesday-Wednesday)
I was thinking to start from Aix-en-Provence at noon (1-2pm latest - wanted to check out their farmers market on Tuesday morning)
Would you know if it’s a good one?
Or better to start really early in the morning to go straight to Gordes or Lacoste to catch their Tuesday farmers market?
My plan is to drive through the beautiful villages and leave the area at approx 5-6pm next day, 28 August, Wednesday (will be heading to Verdon Gorge to stay overnight and start next day with some fun canyoning :)
Need your help to figure out if all below villages are worth to be visited during these 2 days I have (don’t want it to be a rush trip :). Also please help me to put them in a “right order” to optimise my trip (so I can also choose the area to sleep over on 27th night):
Lourmarin
Bonnieux
Lacoste
Ménerbes
Roussillon (want to do ochre trail :)
Gordes
Should I include Sault (looks so much off track to me) for farmers market on Wednesday?
L’isle sur Sorgue (does it worth a visit ??)
Or maybe you have other suggestions instead :)
Are there any good farmers markets on Wednesday morning you can recommend? I really would love to visit at least one :)
All the comments, advises and hints :) are welcome!
Thank you,
Lyudmila
