Drinking ages in Paris

I see the minimum age to buy alcohol in France is 18, but there seem to be different rules for when a parent provides the alcohol. My oldest will be about three weeks away from her 18th birthday when we make our trip this summer. Are we able to order her a glass of wine with dinner? We will also have our 15 year old with us. I doubt she will want to try any wine, but is there a different rule for a 15 year old versus a 17 year old?

Thanks for the information. That is how we handle it in my family. Especially with my oldest going off to college in the fall. We do not want her to view alcohol as some sort of forbidden fruit that she gets to indulge in once she is not under our roof.
