Yes. We just returned from Uzès. It’s a very laid back casual place.

There is no city, town, or village that has a dress code as far as I know. The only dress codes are in churches (more in Italy, Spain, Portugal, than anywhere else), high class restaurants, and maybe some opera/theater venues.
