Hello, Me, my husband, and my adult children are leaving for France on June 24. I filled out the EU digital passenger form for myself and listed my husband and children as my travel companions. I was under the impression that each member had to complete a separate form. Is that correct, or is it sufficient that the others are listed as travel companions? Just want to make sure before we go to all the work to each submit a form. Thanks!
To travel, each family/group member must fill out their personal PLF to obtain an assigned QR code and this PLF must be created on a personal account. ( emphasis added)
Interesting. When we flew this spring we filled out one form for our group which was uploaded to the airline site. When they were passing out forms for those who had not done so on the plane, they indicated it was one form for the family. No one ever asked for it again after we had it uploaded to the airline site.
We are currently in France, having flown here a few days ago. I filled out one form for myself and all who were traveling with me (wife and kids). I printed it out and kept it. To date, no one has asked for it (airline, passport control, etc), but I carry it around with me.
YMMV but I flew into Paris a few days ago and nobody asked about it. I filled it out online but the airline never checked it and they didn't make any announcements on the flight.
matthew -- did you upload it to the airline site before travel? If so, then the airline 'checked it' i.e. when they approved you as travel ready. No one checked our vaccination records either but they were uploaded and approved before flight.
I am surprised that it reads one per passenger as I distinctly remember it saying one per party and that worked fine for us. I might add that none of the three of us: I, my husband, my granddaughter -- had the same last name.
janettravels44, SoCalDoc & Matthew - may I ask which airline you flew on? We booked with Delta and are flying on AirFrance.
Do you have to put every single Hotel on this form?
We flew United -- I think you put your first hotel -- we stayed in an apartment so just entered that -- but don't know for sure.
We flew on Air France. However, they (Air France) didn't ask to see the form or upload it either. The Air France website asked us to upload our COVID vaccination cards to expedite check in.
