My husband and I are in the Dordogne right now for 5 nights, staying in La Roque. We have a car and need to know where we can do some laundry. Prefer the “do it yourself” type but will take suggestion for the drop-off, pick up later style as well. Thanks

I did my laundry at the laverie here in 2016. It's near Domme on the D46.

I was in that area last week. Beynac. We went to self serve in Sarlat- about 15 minutes away.
Would advise reading or watching video about using machines. Simple but different. I googled it at hotel.

If you're staying in a hotel, ask the desk staff for the nearest laverie. La Roque-Gageac appears to have a very small population so I doubt there would be enough business for a laundromat.

Go on google maps. I saw several options. No further than 10 minutes away. We were lucky where we stayed we had access to a washer and dryer. Just type in your location and add laundry to the search. There is one right outside of Domme. A short drive from La Roque-Gageac. Happy travels. It’s a stunning area. We are trying out Provence next week. It’s going to be tough to beat where you are.Love the Dordogne
