Dordogne late May... do you think it's possible to pack in Font de Gaume (11:30 tour), Roque St. Christophe (open 10 am to 6:30 pm), and a visit to Commarque (open 10:30 am to 6:30 pm) in the same day? I'm trying to group together nearby locations to avoid backtracking (though we have an extra day in our itinerary if we need to backtrack). How long would you typically spend at Roque St. Christophe for a basic visit?
This would be easy to do. St. Christophe is a half hour stop IMHO. Commarque and Font du Gaume longer. It would be a shame to miss the museum at les Eyzies but probably don't have time for that is you want to do the rest as well as travel between them. This would assume an early ticket for the Font du Gaume. Here was our trip to Commarque. https://janettravels.wordpress.com/2017/07/25/perfect-place-for-murder-commarque-chateau/
