We are renting a vehicle from Orly and driving to Bayeux. I just learned about this new toll system. How does it work with a rental car? Can you sign up at the rental agency and get billed automatically? Or, do you create an account with Sanef and pay after each toll? Or, through the rental car agency? Anything else we need to be aware of with regard to the tolls?

For rental cars, the payment process remains the same as for personal vehicles. When registering your license plate on the payment portal, you have the option to select a rental time slot, this allow you to only pay for trips made during that time.

And if you rent, take a photo with your phone of your license plate - easy to remember. Also anywhere that is pay to park it is done with a credit card and your tag number.
