Documentation of Negative test for return flight

We (thankfully!) received our negative covid tests to return to US (used Abbott EMed tests). They emailed proof of negative result.
Anyone who has returned since testing requirement- is showing email detailing results (is on phone okay instead being printed) all that is needed at check in counter?

Thank you!

We're doing our Abbott test tomorrow . Glad yours seemed to work well -any tips?

Planning on getting hard copies from the hotel printer, as it takes too long to jump from apps-Verify , UK tracker form, and Covid test results when standing at airport check in counter. Sometimes there's a wi-Fi issues and apps don't open. We will have screen shots of the forms, also.
Good luck to you, you'll be one of the first to return with all this - pls report back.
Thx so much and safe travels!

I have always had a hard paper copy of the test results.

I used a paper copy — the person who reviewed it (and checked me in) affixed a sticker in the upper-right corner of the paper — as I went through the next steps in the airport, that sticker was the shorthand that gave the other officials and airline staff the confidence that my documentation had been properly checked and that they could let me through.

We came back to the US from Paris about ten days ago and just had our E-Med negative test results on our phones to show airline officials before departing. The result gets uploaded to your e-Med NAVICA app automatically. A screen shot saved to your photos on your phone would also work as that wouldn’t require wifi.

What, specifically, test do we need to re enter the us? How long to get the results? They are emailed to you?

Here’s the cdc link for requirements before flying back to the US. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/testing-international-air-travelers.html

On this thread, we are all referring to the Abbott Binax Now E-Med proctored self-administered rapid antigen tests that you can buy in the US before you leave, and take the test kits with you to use 3 days before returning.

You don’t need to use this method but some choose to so you don’t have to worry about where to get a test three days before you leave.

I took an antigen test at a pharmacy here in Paris (on two different occasions for two different reasons).

It costs €29 for an antigen test (which meets US entry requirements) for those who are not enrolled in the French health care system, and they are available at just about any pharmacy. You get the results in 15 minutes.

I don’t know anything about the Binax tests.

I used the Binax NOW Test administered through eMed.com and results were sent to my NAVICA app. I presented the negative results on my iPhone to the Delta airlines agent at the Venice airport gate before boarding my flight. Easy. I returned 9 days ago.

The Abbott binax NOW E-Med tests are kits that you order and take with you on your trip so you can do a proctored online self-test within the prerequisite window that satisfies travel requirements, eg 3 days before returning to the US. Here’s a points guy article on the Abbott binaxnow test :

They work pretty well because you don’t have to find a testing station or make an appointment but require a smart phone or lap top with reliable wifi and the ability to self administer the test.

In Paris where we were last week, there seemed to be a testing station on every street corner, that did not necessarily require appointments but i bought the kits because I didn’t know the testing availability in a smaller French town.

I've taken two antigen tests at my neighborhood pharmacy in the south of France and one at CDG. All took 20minutes for the results to be in my phone.

The Abbott Binet Now Emed self- administered, proctored test worked well for us. Don't know what to do with the extra kits ( came in a six-pack.) However, it's nice to have an extra each. As my husband did make a mistake after the first test, and did a second test.

The QR Code is not working inside of Switzerland for eating indoors, however. The Swiss can't read it.

the Abbott test's QR code wouldn't work anywhere in Europe, to be certain, as the systems aren't linked. No different from the NY Excelsior pass or California's QR codes - can't be read by the different system.

Does anyone know if the Abbott Binet Now Emed Test - 6 pack can be shared or is it 1 person per 6 pack?
Thanks

My husband and I shared the six-pack. We each had to set up separate accounts with the Navica app beforehand.
Worked well for us.
Good luck!
