Do not need a Paris Museum Pass for under 18?

I was getting ready to buy Paris Museum Pass on-line and read that a "majority of national museums and monuments" are already free for children under 18. Has anyone had any experience where this is not true? I would hate to stand in-line to go into a place only to realize the children should have bought a ticket. Thank you!

I would double check the places you are most likely to go. I know the Louvre and Orsay are free under 18, along with basically every other museum I remember. My children didn't have a pass and came in through the pass entrance us with no problem. But they were very young. A teenager might need to prove she is under 18.

The pass comes with a list of museum details that should help you identify any rare exceptions. Also noted in Rick's guidebooks, the Army Museum and Arc de Triomphe allow kids in for free but they must go through the ticket line to get their free ticket.

I don't remember a single museum in Paris where the kids were not free. If there is one, it is not covered on the museum pass and you will be standing in the undoubtedly short ticket line anyway. The Eiffel Tower of course is not covered by the pass for adults and is not free for kids.
