Do I need to reserve train tickets for Arles to Nimes?

I am travelling from Provence to Barcelona in early July. I will be staying in Arles and catching the high speed rail from Nimes to Barcelona. I know I need to book the Nimes to Barcelona tickets in advance, but will I be OK buying the Arles to Nimes (I guess via Avignon) tickets the day of travel? Thanks.

No you do not need to reserve that part. Depending on the time I'm seeing Arles to Nimes takes 30 minutes as a direct train TER for 8 euros one way
