Hi all! I has posted a while ago about places to visit in the outer zones during the weekends with my monthly Navigo pass. I thought Disneyland would be out of it since it's out the budget, but I just saw on the site that there is a Disney Village that is always free (like Downtown Disney in Orlando, or City Walk near Universal Studios). It has shops and restaurants and other attractions. Has anyone visited there? Also, I cannot tell from the map where Disney Village is in relation to Disneyland. Would we get off at the same train station as one would for Disneyland? Thanks!
The same Train Station as DisneylandParis
Hi,
I apologize if this is too late for your trip, but yes - I have visited & it's the equivalent of Downtown Disney in Anaheim/Orlando & the Universal CitiWalks. The World of Disney is there, so you can get in some excellent shopping, Disney Gallery has some nice things too, & there's a fun hot air balloon ride. Annette's Diner is themed after a 50's style American diner & was fine, but I had a better meal at the Newport resort hotel. You can eat at any of their restaurants without paying theme park admission. There are street performers, some concerts, a country western show that's part of a meal deal with one of the restaurants & an IMAX Theater.
In terms of non-Disney stuff, there's a LEGO Store, Planet Hollywood, Starbuck's, McDonald's, Earl of Sandwich, etc.
