Disney Paris 1 or 2 days?

Traveling to Paris with my 18 yr old niece in 1st two weeks of June. Disney Paris is something we may want to do. She’s been to Disney World in Florida several times. Is one day enough, example, leave Paris in the morning and return back the same day? Or is it best to plan to stay the night so as to not rush and to also not return late back into the city? Would it make sense to plan our last day(s) in Disney, then go to the airport from there rather than traveling back into the city?

It depends if you want to visit both parks or just one.
For just one park, 1 day is enough, but for both, 2 days is better, and in such a case it is a very good idea to leave it for the end as you are suggesting.

Completely agree with Balso. We did a day trip on our first visit to DLP and didn't get to do everything we wanted. On another visit we stayed in a Disney resort for 2 nights so we could take our time.

I went to DLP quite a few years ago with my grandchildren and found it very enjoyable and I am not a US Disney Park fan. We stayed overnight on the property (was less expensive than the surrounding hotels) and went to the Character Breakfast the next morning. The grandkids enjoyed it and the large variety of breakfast foods was very good.

Looking at the demographics for Disney Paris, 49% are from France, 93% are from Europe and only 7% are from somewhere else. As someone else mentioned in another post; if you want to see real European families in a real family setting you should visit a McDonalds. They're not just there for the tourists. It's on our list as well if we make it to Paris.

In 2015, our family (mom, dad, older teen) did both Paris parks in a day (oh my gosh, that’s 8 years ago!). Our priorities were hitting the main rides and experiencing the design and amazing craftsmanship. As we were there in May, mid-week, the park was not crowded and there were relatively short lines. We also had a lot on our itinerary in Paris - so a day trip worked perfectly. But, if you want to see it all (June might mean longer lines), 2 days might be the way to go. I would look at the big picture of your trip and balance the time you might have to devote to Disney with your priorities in Paris.

For our day trip we left our hotel near the Louvre very early in the morning, we arrived just before opening and returned late at night. Taking the RER from central Paris to the park was easy. It was a long day but worth it. If you were to do two days at the park, staying overnight sounds reasonable. Putting Disney at the end of your trip makes sense.

For Disney park fans it’s fun to experience the differences between US and international parks. Next month we will be visiting Efteling in the Netherlands, reportedly one of the inspirations for Disneyland. Being a Vermeer fan AND an amusement park fan are not mutually exclusive.

My husband and I are pretty much Disney freaks, so we were anxious to see Disneyland Paris. We did it as a day trip, and visited both parks. We did not feel like we had to ride every ride since we have been to the Orlando park many times. I was unwillingly to give up another day in Paris or France to spend more time at Disney. Personal choice.

On another trip we spent our last day (well half a day) at Disneyland Paris and took the train to CDG from there. It was super fast, like 10 minutes. So doing it on your last day makes sense. Check the train schedule before you commit to make sure it works for your flight home.

The half day option may work best for us. We won’t be going to hit the rides but just to visit. Knowing the train is that quick certainly helps. Are there lockers/storage facilities for luggage? I will certainly check to see if timing will work. Thank you.

A taxi from Disney to CDG is not unreasonable, somewhere between 50-100€ I reckon. I believe there is a shuttle bus too.

No idea about lockers but perhaps Disneyland's Paris website has an FAQ?

French schools will be in session in June, so should be calm, relatively.

I get wanting to go for a quick visit just to check it out-we love Disney, too! (former cast member here) But our experience was underwhelming and definitely void of that signature Disney service that you're probably used to from the US parks. Take your Insta photos, get an overview and head to the airport! Your Disney time and money is MUCH better spent in Orlando, in my opinion. And there are so many more charming experiences in Paris besides Disney.

For an 18yo and adults there are not enough thrilling rides to justify multiple days at DP. Agree that WDW Orlando is really in a different league.

I'm taking two little ones to DP in June and we are doing 2 days, but our pace is much slower and we will be meeting all the princesses, swimming at the hotel pool, and doing Its a Small World on repeat :)

In 2014 I did Disneyland Paris in one day, just the Disneyland Park only and not the Studio Park. I really enjoyed their Big Thunder Mountain & Haunted Manor. I had arrived early in Paris, coming from Venice, dropped my bags off at the hotel and hopped on the RER-A and did not get back to Paris until the late evening to check in.

Whatever your decision, do make sure you explore Cinderella's castle. It's oh so much more than the ones in the US.
