Discounted Seine boat ride with Paris Museum Pass

On a previous trip we received a discount with one such company but cannot recall which it was. I can't seem to find any information on the PMP website. Any ideas? Thanks.

You might have got a Paris Pass (horrible deal) which bundles the Museum Pass with the Visite transport pass and a whole bunch of other discount coupons and marks the package up 50% and sells it to credulous tourists. Sorry for the editorial.
If you do get a Visite transport pass, there is a discount at one of the big Seine cruise lines.

Thanks Sam, but I am sure we did not purchase the package(s) you noted. We had only the Museum Pass and no others as we walk a lot and get by well on the carnets for the few metro rides we take. The agent at the boat insisted there was no such discount but as we continued the conversation, his colleague overheard us and corrected him and we did save a few euro. It wasn't a bunch, but I'd like to find it again if I can. As I recall there were a couple of operators down near the Eiffel Tower, but I sought out the company that offered the discount I had read about, and it could only have been on the Museum Pass as that is all we had. It wasn't a dinner cruise, as I recall...we did not eat and don't remember seeing dinners offered... just a ride that lasted perhaps an hour or so at best.

Did you have a Eurail or France pass for further travels? Those used to offer discounts on Bateaux Parisiens, but no longer.

Laura, thank you, but we had no rail pass of any sort. It could have been the trip to France in 2012, but I won't swear to that. I'm starting to think that whatever it was it is no longer available. Just dug up another notation, 2008 was the trip before that. Ancient history more than likely, whatever it was. Perhaps another poster can shed some light, but it looks dim. Thank you.

We got a discount on the Vedettes de Pont Neuf boats that run from Notre Dame area by reserving online -- which we did the day before from our hotel wifi. Not a huge discount but every euro counts.

Thank you for all the replies. Had it only been my memory I relied on I would be very suspicious, but my partner has an excellent memory and he seems to recall the same. But two heads aren't always better than one, or so it appears in this case anyhow. We will look at the online reservations. We're taking our nephew, and any savings we can dig up will be welcomed. Thanks again.

As far as I know, the boat trips (Bateaux Parisiens River Cruise; 1 hour; free) are only included on the Paris Pass, which also includes the Visite transport pass. They are not included with the Paris Museum Pass, nor are there any other passes with discounts that I'm aware of.
