I am traveling from Heidelberg to Strasbourg on Wednesday, November 27. Is there a direct train from Karlsruhe to Strasbourg? The RS book says there are 4 direct TGV trains/day, but I cannot find any. I know it's too early for November timetables, but I looked in August and still don't see a direct train. Everything is recommending either a FlixBus or 2h journey with 2 changes. This is making the total trip from Strasbourg 3-4 hours with 3+ changes.

There are actually 5 direct TGV's on Nov 27, plus 3 direct ICE's.
Where are you looking? They are clearly shown at https://int.bahn.de/en
