Dinner recommendations near Saint Chapelle on a Sunday

We are planning to attend a Sunday concert at Saint Chapelle at 20:00 (8:00 p.m.) and are interested in recommendations for dinner that are within a 15 minute walk or metro ride from Saint Chapelle and that are open at 18:00 (6:00 p.m.). While there are several restaurants near Saint Chapelle that i have found as being recommended through other searches, they either are not open on Sundays or do not open until 19:00 or 19:30 (7:00 or 7:30).

We would be fine with a very casual option as we could plan to have a nicer lunch that day.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations any of you might have.

Restaurants do not open until 19h00 at the earliest.

Cafés will be open all day. However, there is a nearby Italian restaurant that opens a 18h00 on Sundays which is typically very good and very casual:

Hi, we had very good Chinese wonton noodles at a Chinese restaurant called April (23 Rue Saint-Jacques) when we were there in March. It is about an eight minutes walk from Saint Chapelle. It was light, clean tasting, flavorful, and relatively inexpensive. Nice modern ambiance. The meal was particularly appreciated since we opted to eat our bigger meals at Michelin starred restaurants for lunch. My family was surprised by how good it was. There is another better known Chinese restaurant called Mirama near it (a Parisian friend told me it has the best Pekin duck in town), but that restaurant didn't look half as good as April. I checked for you, and the restaurant is opened at 6 p.m. You can make a reservation too (it is not a big restaurant; just a few tables). We ordered both the wonton soup and the beef noodle soup. If you do end up eating there, you would still have time to get a drink before your Sunday concert.

I had no problem finding restaurants open at all hours, many restaurants. Maybe it's different in different areas then I was. Just across from St. Chapelle there are at least 2 restaurants. I only had coffee to wait for a friend and use the wifi, but it was set up for meals. The waiters were very nice as they are everywhere, unless you're in a really posh place, as right outside the Saint Michel metro. They were old stern men, not too friendly. Usuallly they are among the most up, friendly and helpful people you will meet in Paris. Also, usually young and running their butts off. I don't know how they handle so many tables at once! I got a little carried away here, but I just got back and it's so fresh in my mind. Such a great trip.

Maybe it's different on Sunday, but with all the tourist, why would they close?

To the poster above: it is pretty common for restaurants in Paris to be closed Sunday and Monday, and even more common in the rest of France. Staff needs rest days, and it is expensive to operate with two teams.

Thank you everyone for your replies.Just trying to avoid tourist traps so was not really sure about the quality of even the cafes near the Cathedral. Appreciate all of the tips and thank you jacxyz for checking on the hours for April--that was way above and beyond.

And before posting, I had already conducted a google search for restaurant recommendations in the area, and on the travel blogs with recommendations, all of the restaurants were either not open on Sundays or didn't open until 19:00 or 19:30. And Tocard, thanks for reminder about cafes vs. restaurants-forgot about that.

Thanks again everyone.
