We’re staying in Sarlat for two nights this coming May. I’m looking for recommendations for great restaurants so I can make reservations soon. There will be 5 of us so I’m thinking reservations would be a good idea.

We had a wonderful meal in a beautiful outdoor setting. The prices (2019) were very reasonable.

Claudette, one of the best dinners I've had in my entire life was at Le Regent, 6 Place de la Liberte, Sarlat. I had the foie gras, duck, and walnut cake (and ice cream). The food was delcious and the evening very memorable... including getting myself locked in the ladies room!

Thank you for the recommendations, I will look into them. Donna, those darn European doors can be so tricky! I hope you didn’t have to wait too long to get out of the bathroom!
