I will be traveling to Paris this April and was just wondering if anyone had any tips/suggestions/advice on having dinner in the Eiffel Tower? There seem to be a lot of different agencies offering "the best deal for dinner" and I'm exhausted scouring the internet. My boyfriend is pretty set on having dinner there so I'm just trying to find truly, the best deal. Any help would be great!
There is only one Eiffel Tower, and I believe it has 2 restaurants.
The Jules Verne, on the 2nd level, figure about 190 EUR per person for a 5 course dinner plus 95 EUR for wines with each course. You get your own private elevator access. Alain Ducasse group operates it.
The Tour 58 on the 1st level is a little more down market. 95 EUR per person for 3 course dinner with equivalent of 1/3 bottle of wine per person included. You come up in the public elevator, but get a priority boarding pass you get at the restaurant booth on the ground.
Location, location, location!
So I don't know what 3rd party sellers deal is. Bucket shops for unfilled reservations? I'd just suck it up and deal with the restaurants direct.
Following up on Sam's post, there is no need to go to a third party when you literally have only two choices and they both offer online reservations on their websites. You can look at the menus and see which one of the two will work better for you.
Agree with above. We had lunch at Jules Verne in April. Nothing so easy as making a reservation directly through their website once the window for your desired date has opened. It was a lovely experience.
I appreciate the comments and breakdown of the two restaurant choices!
