We are staying in.Bayeux, but don’t mind a drive. Good food, excellent experience or preferably both.

No need to drive, the best restaurant in the area is right in Bayeux; la Rapière. Reserve well in advance.
Our last great meal in Bayeux was in 2019 at Le Pommier. On that same trip, we had another great meal at the Hotel Villa Lara's restaurant.
Many Bayeux restaurants are closed on Mondays - so reservations can be time, if not life, savers.
I know that there are lots of options, but a past experience led me to ask for some help. Thank you! It gives me direction.

Sammy, I try to avoid that particular food here in the USA, I really don’t want to waste my caloric expenditure at this “fine” establishment when I am in France!
