Looking for recommendations for places to eat dinner in Dinan. Within the city, as we won’t have a car. Thanks!

I was there in February and enjoyed a lovely dinner at Le Temps Devant Soi. We also had reservations at Colibri and Le Cosy but unfortunately a couple of us became ill and were not up to going out for dinner those nights. All these restaurants were highly rated and easy to reach on foot in the old centre.

We spent four days in Dinan in May of last year (2025). We had a nice lunch at Colibri, and an enjoyable dinner at Le Cantorbery. We also visited Crêperie Ahna for dinner. Very popular place, quite small. Reservations recommended. Their specialty is crepes and galettes (obviously). But they also offer assortments of mixed raw meat morsels (duck, chicken, and beef, if I remember correctly) that you cook at the table on a pre-heated block of stone. The raw meats were presented on the same plate with roasted potatoes, salad and three dipping sauces. My companion, who used to give lectures on food safety to dietician students, was a bit worried. But it was all quite tasty, and I did not get sick.
