I will be in Dijon for 5 days in October and would like to day trip on the train, no car. What are must see towns or village to waunder.

Years ago I was in that area and remember how much I loved it. I had a car though. So I googled on villages around Dijon and got many suggestions for 'beautiful villages.' Then I checked on getting to Gevrey Chambertin via train & it is very close. I remember I loved that area & the wine.

Do you already have Beaune planned? I wouldn't miss it, especially the Hospice de Beaune. Short trip.

Yes, I have Beaune planned, but thought it might be better for public transportation to stay in Dijon.

No need to stay in Beaune. Frequent trains from Dijon to Beaune take less than half an hour. Easy day trip.
