Difficulty creating an RATP account on iphone

Hi, I am trying to create an RATP app account on my iphone so that I can purchase Metro tickets via the app for when I'm in Paris. I am not receiving an email from them that would allow me to verify my email (Comcast email) and set up the account. Can I do this from the U.S. or do they require a French phone number? Thanks for any help you can give me!

I just tried this, as I am going to be in Paris this fall. I was able to successfully create an account from Canada.

The first time I tried, I didn't get an email, and then I realized that I missed that the password has to be 12 characters, and I had only 10. There was nothing that cued me that I did this wrong. When I tried again with a 12-character password, I did get the email, but I had to look in my junk folder to find it. Maybe you were having a similar issue?
