This was my son's #1 must-see in Paris, but I could not book before we left due to our planned itinerary (they only book 7 days out) and then unfortunately I forgot for a day or two and when I did go to book, all tix were sold out on the official site. :( We have 4 more days in Paris. Are there any tricks? Does anyone know when the "last minute" tickets roll over? There are SO many resellers, and I'd consider paying an upcharge (maybe for just two people) but I don't know who is reliable. Thanks for any help.

This was pre-Covid, so things might be different now, but we got in this way a few years ago.
We got there 5 minutes before the official closing time, and there was no line, and we got right in.
In other words, closing means the entrance closes, but you still get 45 min to walk thru. Good luck.

Well, I was going to suggest just the opposite of the previous poster. Also pre-Covid, we arrived 30 minutes before opening and were among the first to enter. They took a few people from the pre-ticketed line and a few from the regular line. No problem. Cool experience and totally worth it!

Thanks all. I should have mentioned, we tried showing up an hour before they opened yesterday and no luck. We may try right before closing.
