Dedicated entrance lines for Paris Museum Pass

Apologies if there is already a thread for this but I didn't see one. Hoping to find out if Versailles and the Louvre have dedicated lines/entrances for people with a timed reservation AND a Paris museum pass.

Thank you!

We had the museum pass but there weren’t separate lines. The lines were set up by time. We got to Versailles at 10:30 for a 12:00 timed entry. We had coffee at the small cafe and got on the designated 12:00 line at 11:45. Same at the Louvre. No early entrance. Also, the PMP does not cover the gardens at Versailles, it’s an extra 10€.
The D’Orsay had a separate line for PMP holders. We didn’t have a reserved time there but went early in the morning. This was April 2023.

Before COVID there were special security lines for PMP holders and those with prepurchased tickets; most people just showed up and were in longer lines.

Now everyone comes with a ticket reservation and lines are long reqardless unless you have a priority pass. E.g. the Orsay lets Carte Blanche members bypass virtually all lines and the Orangeries privileges those passes too. That is not the case with the Museum Pass.

for Versailles and the Louvre you just get in the line for people with tickets for your time slot -- there is not special value to the PMP.

There's also a priority pass for the Louvre. An Amis du Louvre membership lets you bypass lines.

Janet, do you remember how long it took to get your Carte Blanche card? It's been 15 day since we ordered and the temporary pass will have expired by the time we arrive.

Sorry Richard. I was a free rider. A French friend of mine has Carte Blanche and takes me and my husband (separately) to the Orsay on every trip -- so I have seen the card in action but not purchased one. Locals get a cut rate on the price so it is a real deal.

And years ago when I had a professional membership to the Louvre it functioned similarly -- I could bypass all the lines (and take a guest to late openings)

There are only two lines at the Louvre: one for those with tickets/passes/memberships, another for those without. Everyone goes through the security line.

Same at the Orsay, a line for those with tickets/passes/memberships, and a second line for those without.

Entry with a museum pass is no different than having a ticket in hand.
