Hello! We have booked to go back to France for 2 weeks in June next year (cannot believe that 2019 is just a few days away!). We will be in the south for a total of 10 nights and of that have 5 already arranged. We will be picking up my Dad in Nimes and spending 5 nights in a village just outside of Uzes, and then fly out together from Montpellier. For the first 5 nights (where it will just be the 2 of us), we are unsure whether to fly into Marseille, perhaps spend a night in Aix and then the remaining 4 nights in one place in / around the Luberon OR to fly into Lyon and spend a night there, and then break the remaining 4 nights into 2 nights Rhone and 2 nights Luberon. Does anyone have any suggestions on which would make a better itinerary? We are not really interested in cities however do not mind a night or 2, and love countryside, walks, food (simple local food) and wine. I would value any help, thank you!
