ATMs still accept magnetic strip cards. Remember to inform your bank of your travels before you leave.

Yes, you can certainly use a debit card without a chip in France.
Just make sure you have a 4 digit PIN & memorize the numbers because ATM's do not have letters on the keys as they do here in the US.

Just back from a month in France. My credit union mag strip debit card worked every time.
